IPL 2018: Suresh Raina Spill Beans on What Makes MS Dhoni Angry

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) cricketer, Suresh Raina recently spilled beans on what makes his skipper MS Dhoni lose his cool on the field.
Meanwhile, Dhoni usually is cool as a cucumber and is well composed. The cricketing world has not seen him lose his cool until one earlier this year in South Africa. Dhoni rebuked Manish Pandey for not remaining aware to a possible run during a T20I.
However, Captain Cool has often shown signs of losing his patience with shoddy work on the field: from his bowlers and fielders. CSK, moreover, have scripted a historic comeback to this much-coveted league.
They have already sealed a playoff berth after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous game. MS Dhoni has been in his vintage form which has boosted the Super Kings. Further, Ambati Rayudu’s touch at the top-order has been an added advantage for the team.

Raina reveals the story
Throughout IPL 2018, Dhoni has conceded fielding is not his team’s strongest suit.
During their recent defeat to Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni was visibly furious with his team’s fielding. He was so angry with the fielders; he even threw the ball down in disgust after taking a catch behind the wickets during the end overs.
Raina, who knows Dhoni closely said his skipper wanted to minimise these errors ahead of the playoffs. His goal is to win the IPL this year, after spending two seasons away due to suspension.
The southpaw revealed Dhoni loses his cool when bowlers make the same mistakes over and over again.
“I know what I need to do out on the field but getting advise from the captain, especially for the bowlers. If they are not hitting the right lengths and if they are giving away extra runs repeatedly.. those things can make you extra annoyed,” Raina told to Indiatoday.in.
With the playoffs coming ahead, Raina added Dhoni wants his players not to commit any mistake, as it can cost them a match.
“The moment you make a mistake in the play-offs, you are out of the tournament. That’s why he wants to correct all these mistakes so that when the moment arrives, you do not make a mistake there,” he added.
CSK faces Kings XI Punjab next on May 20 at the MCA Stadium in Pune.
