The 2018 IPL auction has been full of surprises with players like Ben Stokes and Krunal Pandya earning big others like Chris Gayle and Lasith Malinga who are IPL legends for their respective teams went unsold in the ongoing IPL auction. Another surprising bid came of left arm Indian seamer Jaydev Unadkat who was sold to Rajasthan Royal for a whooping 11.5 crores.

Unadkat became the highest earning Indian player in the 2018 IPL and just behind English all rounder Ben Stokes who was also bought by Rajasthan Royals for 12.5 crores. Royals have been a major spenders in this year’s auction till now.

Rajasthan have now bought the services of some of the biggest names in world cricket right now, buying Jos Buttler (4.4 Crores), Jofra Archer (7.2 Crores), D’Arcy Short (4 Crores), Ajinkya Rahane (4 Crores) and retained the Australian skipper Steven Smith earlier.

Left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat became the most expensive Indian player in the 2018 Indian Premier League Auction after he attracted a bid of Rs 11.50 crore from the Rajasthan Royals. Unadkat beat KL Rahul and Manish Pandey who bagged Rs 11 crore contracts on the opening day of the auction on Saturday.
