England T20I star, Tymal Mills went unsold in the IPL auction 2018. Mills shone in the last auction when he bagged an amount of Rs 12 Crore after being bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
However, he disappointed and could not deliver. He scalped five wickets in the same number of games he played and sat out due to injuries. It can be said that the money spent by RCB did not pay them benefits and this year, they did not bid for him.
Interestingly, Mills had increased his base price this year to Rs 1 Crore from Rs 50 Lakh and was hoping to get a bid but him going unsold this year s not a surprise at all.
Mills though can be bought later if the franchises wish his name to come up again.
Meanwhile, Australia pacer, Jason Behrendorff, was sold to Mumbai Indians for an amount of Rs 1.5 Crore. He drew his first bid from Mumbai Indians, who did not bid for him for next few biddings before making a comeback. Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders increased his price a bit before backing out.
Surprisingly, Mumbai Indians bought him for an amount of Rs 1.50 Crore.
The left-arm pacer is remembered for his vicious spell of 4-0-21-4 against India last year.
