Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Brendon McCullum and Yuzvendra Chahal are some of the most sought after cricketers in the world at the moment. There is absolutely no denying the fact that budding cricketers across the world idolise them. They are some of the best in business going around at the moment. But satisfaction is hard to achieve. No matter how much one achieves in life, there is always something more that keeps on bothering him.
And it seems the aforementioned cricketers are also not fully satisfied with the vast amount of talent they possess. In a recent interview with Eros Now, the players revealed the one superpower they would like to have.
McCullum started the proceedings by expressing his desire of having Chris Gayle’s power. One of the most destructive batsmen going around at the moment, the former New Zealand skipper said he would love to have a ‘little bit more power’.
“Maybe the power of Chris Gayle. That would be nice. To be able to hit every ball for a six like he can” he said after thinking for a while before adding: “I am happy with what I have got but you always want a little bit more. It would be nice to have a little bit more power.”
De Villiers was up next and he wanted a superpower that would make the bowlers’ life hell. The former Proteas skipper said that he wanted the superpower of reading others’ minds.
“I wish I could read minds. So I could know what the bowlers would gonna bowl next,” said de Villiers.
Kohli was quick to second de Villiers on it, saying: “I would second AB on that. Every batsman want to read bowlers’ mind, what they are thinking and planning to do to get even more advantage. It has become a batsman-oriented game but we always want more advantage.”
With the batsmen asking for power to hit as many sixes as possible, Chahal came up with an interesting wish.
“I wish I could fly so that I can save the sixes,” he said.
