IPL 2018: Virat Kohli Shares a Message for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Fans

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli shared an emotional message for all the fans and people associated with the franchise for their early exit from this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Meanwhile, RCB finished sixth in league with 12 points, as they failed to qualify for the playoffs. As a result, their poor run in the T20 league continues, as they are one of the few teams yet to put a hand on the trophy.
Bangalore, however, had the poorest of the starts losing games on a trot. It was once again their bowling unit which failed to back up a strong batting line-up. However, they managed to turn things around baking on individual brilliance.
Former South African cricketer, AB de Villiers played a major scoring runs on most occasions. Kohli also provided good support, as they came to back in line for the playoffs.
However, some last minute failure barred from making it to the playoffs.
Definitely bounce back stronger
Bangalore skipper shared an emotional message on Instagram saying they shameful for not qualifying. However, they are confident of making a comeback stronger in the next season.
“I really believe in the concept of, “you either win or you learn”. We fought hard and gave it our all but one thing is for sure, next season we definitely will bounce back stronger than ever with our learnings from this season,” the post read.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already qualified to the mega final on May 27. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders will fight it out of Qualifier 2 on May 25 to set a final date with CSK.
