Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper, Virat Kohli could miss the crucial game against Delhi Daredevils on Saturday, according to reports.

The team are struggling once again this season after a slow start to their campaign, but they still do have a chance to qualify for the playoffs. A win in the remaining three games of their campaign would give Virat Kohli’s side an outside chance to make it to the last four.

As per reports on Sportstar, Virat Kohli didn’t play any part in the practice session on the eve of the game. This could be a big problem for the team, as Kohli is undoubtedly the best batsman in their team.

On the other hand, if Virat Kohli remains unfit for the game, who would take up the captaincy.

South African cricketer AB de Villiers is an experienced campaigner. He might be take up the role of the captain against Delhi Daredevils if Virat Kohli is deemed unfit.

Both the teams are currently at the bottom of the table, but Delhi Daredevils are out of the playoff contention after their loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday.

Royal Challengers Could Still Qualify

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore were once again quite ordinary this season. They had a pretty bad start to the campaign but slowly found their way. The lack of performances by big players in unison hurt the team the most, as they failed to win important games.

Virat Kohli remains the most important player for the final phase of the tournament. The 29-year old could push himself an extra yard to ensure that he plays at Delhi on Saturday.

The likes of AB de Villiers, Mandeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj and Tim Southee should all get their acts together in these final three games.

If Royal Challengers win their remaining games and other results go their way, then there is still a very good chance for them to qualify for playoffs.
