IPL 2018: Virat Kohli's Heartfelt Post for AB de Villiers

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has sent his best wishes to his Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB de Villiers after latter’s retirement. It is well known that Kohli and de Villiers share a great camaraderie on and off-the-field.

Kohli and de Villiers’ bond grew from strength to strength after the Proteas star joined the Royal Challengers camp. Both of these linchpins for the Bengaluru-based outfit have had shared great partnership.

However, de Villiers will continue to play in the domestic league across the globe, we can expect some more fine alliances between both talisman batsmen.

AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli share a great bonhomie:

Meanwhile, Villiers decided to hang his boost from the International arena on Wednesday (May 23) which sent shocking waves across the cricketing world.

Consequently, Kohli has joined the list of the plethora of admirers for the South African veteran batsman.

De Villiers played 114 Test matches, 228 One-Dayers and 78 Twenty20 Internationals for the South African team. He scored 8,765 runs in the red-ball form, 9,577 runs in the 50-over format and 1,672 runs in the shortest format.

Meanwhile, the ace batsman de Villiers took the hard decision, as he claimed he is ‘tired’ and has run out of gas.

Furthermore, Kohli took to micro photo-logging site Instagram to wish his long-time friend.

In addition, Indian giant’s post read as: “Wish you all the best in everything that you do my brother. You’ve changed the way batting was seen in the time you’ve played international cricket. My best wishes to you and your family for this amazing journey ahead ??”.
