IPL 2018: Watch - MS Dhoni's Monstrous Hit for a 108-Meter Six

If there was any doubt lingering over MS Dhoni’s finishing abilities in recent times, then it is safe to say it has taken the back seat as of now.
The Chennai Super Kings skipper is batting like a man on a mission in this year’s Indian Premier League. It would not be wrong to say that his stunning form has helped Super Kings perform exceedingly well in their comeback season.
The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman, MS Dhoni had already scored two fifties in the first seven games. And on Monday (April 30), the 36-year old scored his third fifty off the season during the match against Delhi Daredevils. He came to the crease when Super Kings were in a spot of bother after losing some quick wickets.
However, he ultimately took the pressure off by attacking right from ball one. In the first ten balls, he had smashed as many as three sixes.
He eventually scored 51 not out of just 22 balls. The innings was studded with two fours and five sixes. But the best of the lot was the six he hit off Avesh Khan on the last ball of the 19th over.
Avesh failed to nail his yorker and paid a hefty price for it. The attempted yorker ended up as a juicy full-toss and Dhoni did the rest, clubbing the ball away over deep square leg for a monstrous 108 meters six.
It is the second longest six of the tournament so for behind AB de Villiers’ 111 meters six.
Here is a clip of that monstrous hit:

Meanwhile, Super Kings ended their innings on a daunting 211 for four.
