In order to boost women cricket in India, Board of Control for Cricket in India have come up with the idea of launching the women version of Indian Premier League (IPL). However, prior to the league, the board have already announced a curtain raiser in the form of an exhibition game.

The match is set to garner the attention of audience across India. It will also be broadcasted for the viewers on TV, while digital streaming of the match will also be made available.

The two teams that are set to play in the exhibition game are named as IPL Trailblazers and IPL Supernovas.

Indian star cricketers Smriti Mandana and Harmanpreet Kaur are set to lead their respective sides. On the other hand, the match will be a grand affair with a host of big names set to play their part.
