The wicketkeeper-batsman is in ominous form with the bat. He is dominating things for the team early in the innings by his nonchalant strokes in the powerplay. Patel will once again be the cynosure of the eyes.

Marcus Stoinis hasn’t impressed much with his bowling. However, he showed his class with the bat when it mattered the most. He was given the middle-order batting burden to carry for RCB.

It seems like Moeen Ali has finally found his touch for the team. He showed his class with the bat and also delivering those economical overs for the team. As the tournament progress, he would become key for success.

Akshdeep Nath impressed Virat Kohli with his batting show in the game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Thus, he is retaining his place in the team for RCB. He might come into play against Mumbai Indians.

Pawan Negi

The veteran fast bowler has failed to grab a deal in the auction. However, RCB signed him as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile. It would be interesting to see how Steyn delivers it for Virat Kohli-led side. As AB de Villiers said, Dale Steyn will give his 200% for every ball, which he delivers.

Umesh Yadav could well get the nod ahead of Mohammed Siraj for the game against Mumbai. He got decent numbers in Mumbai, which would press his case for the selection. So far, Siraj has been pretty poor with his display.

Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal has been their best bowler in the ranks so far. He has been the consistent performer for the team. Hence, he is a certain pick in the playing XI.

Navdeep Saini

After a fine time, Indian cricket has got a child, who hits 150KMPH on a regular basis. He improved a lot to deliver those goods for RCB in powerplay and death overs of the game.

Ratings:

Batsmen – 9/10:

Royal Challengers Bangalore got a stunning lineup in their ranks. They got the required firepower, who can smash any kind of bowling attack on their day. All they need is a bit of application as per the situation.

Bowling 8/10

So far, it was their bowling, which let them down. However, Dale Steyn has been added to their side but the performance of other fast bowlers will hold the key for RCB, especially, against star-studded Mumbai lineup.
