Yet another association from the game of cricket has decided to help their bit for the CRPF families, who were affected in the recent terrorist attack. Delhi Capitals are going to donate their profits obtained through the first game of the tournament towards the Wives association through Paytm. They asked people to make a difference in the lives of their families.

The other night was one of the hard days to digest for the Indian citizen, as they lost the services of a few incredible persons working for the safety of the country. The suicidal bomb attack saw 40 CRPF jawans losing their lives at Pulwama.

Shock, grief and outrage spread across the nation. The globe with countries from the US to Russia condemning the attack. Pakistan has been blamed for the attack by India as well as the US, where the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed is based. In between, Pakistan has denied any wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, regarding the same, Delhi Capitals released a statement asking the fans to donate their bit towards the Jawans family. Further, the statement read that they will be giving away their proceedings of the first game of the Indian Premier League to the Wives Association.

Digging into their post, it read ”This is our time to stand up and be counted. We urge everyone to do their bit. However, little it maybe.”

Meanwhile, BCCI acting president CK Khanna on Sunday appealed to Committee of Administrators chief Vinod Rai to sanction at least Rs 5 crore for the families of the Indian soldiers. Hopefully, they will let out the news sooner than later.

Recently, the Vidarbha Cricket Team, who were the Ranji Champions and also the winner of Irani Cup 2019 donated their Irani Cup prize money to the martyred families. It was a fine gesture from them.

Well, it is pleasing to see Indian Cricket is taking a forward step in helping the families of the jawans. In total, 44 soldiers were killed in the attack while few are battling out with injuries.
