Siddarth Kaul, who made a good start for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL), before Andre Russell launched a carnage on Sunday’s game, admitted that he wants to focus on his plans rather than thinking about any batsmen. As Hyderabad gears up for the second game, Kaul is upbeat to come back stronger against the Rajasthan Royals. Meanwhile, the young fast bowler has come up the ranks quickly to make his debut for India with his stellar show in this league.

Hyderabad went down against the Kolkata Knight Riders after Andre Russell smacked everything that came his way. He entertained the whole Eden Gardens with his clean hitting without sparing any bowler. Speaking about the game, Siddarth Kaul accepted that it was a simple case of not being able to execute the plan he had in place for Russell. But not to get deterred by the turn of events, Kaul has promised to return stronger. He also drew an example from the game between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals where Rishabh Pant put Jasprit Bumrah out of the grounds with ease. Besides, he also added that there are days when everything comes out beautifully from the hands, and nobody can hit you.

There was no dew or anything. Execution was the problem, to be honest, and that is why the results didn’t come. But I am already working towards it and you will see the results in the next few games. You saw how (Jasprit) Bumrah was hit all over the park by (Rishabh) Pant in the game between Delhi and Mumbai,” Kaul said to IANS.

Try to execute my plan: Kaul

Moreover, Siddarth Kaul also added he doesn’t focus on which batsmen he is bowling. Instead, the young pacer revealed that he stresses on his plans and concentrate on executing it properly. Kaul also added he focuses more on his basics and tries to come into a match strongly.

We do get feedback on all the players and their areas of strengths and weaknesses. I always try to keep these things in mind and just like I said, I try to execute my plans. I always look to work on my basics and come into the game strongly without focusing too much on the opposition batsmen,” he concluded.

Siddarth Kaul will be an essential figure in the bowling department when Sunrisers Hyderabad takes on Rajasthan Royals on March 29 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
