IPL 2019: MS Dhoni is My Inspiration, Brother, Legend, Friend - Hardik Pandya

Mumbai Indians talisman all-rounder Hardik Pandya stated that Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is his inspiration, brother, legend and his friend. Pandya shares great respect for MS Dhoni and both of them share a great camaraderie with each other. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya’s Mumbai Indians and MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings had locked horns in the first qualifier which was played at MA Chidambaram Stadium.

The table toppers Mumbai Indians went on to defeat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets to confirm their IPL 2019 final berth. Rahul Chahar bowled a brilliant spell as he scalped two wickets and conceded only 14 runs in his four overs quota.

MI is the first finalists of IPL 2019.

Furthermore, Krunal Pandya and Jayant Yadav scalped one wicket each on the rank-turner of Chepauk Stadium. Thus, the Mumbai Indians bowlers never allowed Chennai Super Kings any momentum in their batting innings. The hosts could only get to 131 runs after MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first.

On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav played a matured knock of 71 runs as he scored his runs while hitting grounded shots. Yadav and Ishan Kishan added 80 runs for the third wicket alliance.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya are in sublime form in the ongoing Indian Premier League. Both the batsmen are striking the ball cleanly and it is great signs for the India National Cricket Team ahead of the World Cup.

Hardik Pandya shares great respect for MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni is Chennai Super Kings’ leader run-scorer as the linchpin batsman has scored 405 runs in 10 innings. Dhoni once again played a crucial knock of 37 runs off 29 balls with the help of three sixes to help his team get to 131 runs. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya has amassed 393 runs in 15 innings as the all-rounder has struck the ball cleanly.
