Australia speedster Nathan Coulter-Nile who was supposed to be playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore from the start of IPL 12 will not be seen in action anytime in the next 7 days. Royal Challengers Bangalore who is having a horrendous time in the tournament so far has faced another major blow as Nathan Coulter-Nile was expected to be their spearhead for the tournament.

As per reports in the ESPN Cricinfo, Nathan Coulter-Nile will only be available for selection from 13th April when Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Kings XI Punjab in Mohali. No reports have claimed whether Coulter Nile has returned to Australia or not. The fast bowler was recently in UAE for the five-match ODI series against Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the Australian Selection panel has given May 1 as the deadline for the players to return to the country and start preparing for the World Cup. Hence Nathan Coulter-Nile won’t be available for the last couple of weeks of the tournament. Earlier it seemed that the fast bowler was warming the benches or was given rest but now it is clear that he is yet to join the franchise. It will be interesting to see whether the fortunes of RCB changes.

He was in terrific rhythm during the ODI series in India a month ago. Coulter Nile had to miss the last couple of games as his wife gave birth to their 2nd child. The fast bowler looked in great rhythm and might be a match winner for Australia in the upcoming World Cup.

Meanwhile coming back to the 12th edition of IPL, Sunrisers Hyderabad are currently at the top of the points table with Chennai Super Kings. Bangalore has played a horrible brand of cricket which has seen them succumb to innumerable lows in the last couple of years. Meanwhile, RCB might make a few changes for their next game against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
