Sunrisers Hyderabad had a roller coaster season in the ongoing edition of the IPL 2019. The Orange Army won six matches out of the 14 they have played in the league stages. Thus, Kane Williamson-led side currently has 12 points under their belt. In fact, Hyderabad playoff hopes will depend on the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.

If Kolkata Knight Riders win against Mumbai Indians, then the former will go through. However, if Mumbai Indians wins, Sunrisers Hyderabad will become the first side in the IPL history to qualify with 12 points.

Meanwhile, some of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s player’s performance was not up to the mark. They were heavily depended on the shoulders of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow and their middle order were their Achilles Heel.

Here are the three players who can be shown the exit doors by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Yusuf Pathan

The veteran all-rounder had a disappointing show with the bat. The right-hander could score only 40 runs in the eight innings for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Thus, he scored his runs at an average of 13.33 and with a strike rate of 88.89.

Furthermore, Yusuf Pathan was sloppy in the field as he fluffed the catches which came his way. However, Yusuf Pathan didn’t get a chance to bowl for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. In fact, Pathan bowled only one over in the season. Moreover, Pathan is not at the top of his fitness.

Deepak Hooda is another all-rounder who disappointed while playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Baroda captain scored only 60 runs in the six innings he played for the Orange Army. Thus, the right-hander scored his runs at a dismal average of 12 and failed to add the finishing touches to Hyderabad’s innings. Hooda scored his runs at a strike rate of 101.69. Moreover, Deepak Hooda didn’t get a chance to bowl in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Consequently, Deepak Hooda can be released by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the next season of the IPL.

Shakib Al Hasan

One of the best all-rounders in the world, Shakib Al Hasan could not live up to the expectations. The southpaw all-rounder scored only 9 runs in the one inning he played. Furthermore, Shakib Al Hasan could only scalp two wickets in the three matches he played in the season.

Hasan didn’t get many chances and it was a clear harbinger that he was not the first-choice foreign all-rounder. In fact, Mohammed Nabi got seven matches for the Orange Army and thus Hasan could be shown the exit doors.
