Not just an opener, but as a wicketkeeper-batsman, Quinton de Kock will be key to Indians’ title credentials in the upcoming IPL season. He will be responsible to provide the team with a platform from the start, and the 27-year-old an exceptionally talented player, so the team will rely on him to score plenty of runs.

In his IPL career so far, the South African skipper has played fifty matches, scoring 1456 runs, with an average of 30.33 and a strike rate of 131.29.

De Kock has had an indifferent time lately with the national team, but in the IPL, he will be surrounded by world-class players, so hopefully, the left-handed batsmen will continue to take responsibility for the Indians’ just as he takes for the Proteas.
