Although Chris Morris and Washington Sundar were the pick of the bowlers last night for RCB as both the bowlers picked a couple of wickets each. However, English all-rounder Ben Stokes was impressed with Yuzvendra Chahal’s show. Chahal, although picked only 1 wicket, but he proved to be the most economical bowler for RCB last night. He gave away only 12 runs in his 4 overs and bowled with an economy of 3 runs per over that helped create pressure and helped the other bowlers pick crucial wickets.
Stokes took to Twitter and wrote, “In a batters game @yuzi_chahal should get MOM here, incredible figures especially as it’s in Sharjah”

Yuzvendra Chahal is on the 5th spot in the Purple Cap race this season as the leg-spinner has gone on to pick 10 wickets in the first 7 games so far. He could be RCB‘s key to success if they go on to win the IPL title this year and break the jinx.
