Shikhar Dhawan etched his name in history book as he notched up two consecutive centuries for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020. In doing so, he became the first batsman in the 13 years of IPL to achieve the feat. Dhawan will be an important member for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2020 playoffs.
Delhi Capitals entered the playoffs after their win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They finished at the second spot only behind defending champions Mumbai Indians. However, there have been a few glitches for the side, which were exposed during their loss and they would look to overcome it.

Dhawan has taken responsibility for his side over the years. The southpaw said that he has been scoring over five hundred runs in the last four years and every season is his best. But he also mentioned that this season is special as he scored two centuries and two ducks which he never did. The Delhi batsman is also happy about the fact that he can perform consistently.
“I have been scoring five hundred runs over the last 4 years. All the seasons are my best seasons, in that case. But it’s special because I scored two centuries and two ducks, which I never did.
Mumbai Indians will host Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 1 on Thursday. The winner of the match will book a spot in the final while the loser will get another chance in the eliminator.
