Kings XI Punjab’s star batsman, Chris Gayle, has been fined 10 per cent of his match-fee for breaching Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct in KXIP’s game against Rajasthan Royals (RR). On Friday, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) took on Rajasthan Royals in match 50 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020).
Winning the toss, the Rajasthan Royals elected to field first. The Kings XI Punjab batsmen scored a total of 185 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs. Chris Gayle was the top-scorer for Punjab with 99 runs as he missed his century by just 1 run. He broke several other records on the night as he became the first batsman ever to hit 1000 T20 sixes.

Chris Gayle Fined For Breaching IPL Code Of Conduct
Chris Gayle was on the road to smash yet another century in the Indian Premier League as he was batting in full flow against Rajasthan Royals. The Caribbean legend was smashing the Rajasthan bowlers all over the park and spared no one including Rajasthan’s Jofra Archer.
Right after his dismissal, Gayle threw his bat in anger as he was angry on himself for missing out on a well-deserved hundred. While walking away to the pavilion, he shook hands with Archer but the IPL has fined him for his aggression as he has been fined 10 per cent of his match-fee for breaching Indian Premier League’s (IPL) Code of Conduct.
Rajasthan Royals Cruised To Yet Another Win
Coming in to chase the targtet, Rajasthan Royals did so with ease, just like the way they did it in the last game against Mumbai Indians (MI). Ben Stokes, the English all-rounder, was once again their top-scorer, as he smashed yet another half-century in the tournament.
