James Neesham, the Kiwi all-rounder and one of the foreign players of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) franchise in IPL 2020, has hilariously trolled his coach Anil Kumble and his teammates after they completed yet another breath-taking game, but this time, ended up on the winning side.

Kings XI Punjab took on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 31 of IPL 2020 on Thursday. Batting first, the Royal Challengers Bangalore put up a score of 171-6 in their 20 overs at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium. Chasing the target, Kings XI Punjab were cruising to victory as KL Rahul and Chris Gayle scored massive half-centuries going into the last over of the game. KXIP needed just 2 runs in the final over to win the game and they had 9 wickets in hand.

However, Kings XI Punjab, as they have been so far doing in this season, choked in the final over with Gayle being run out on the second last ball and the game finally going on to the last delivery of the game.

To KXIP’s fortune, Nicholas Pooran walked in to bat at the last ball when only 1 run was required to win the game and Pooran smashed the ball out of the park for a six to win the second game for KXIP this season. After another close call game, the KXIP dugout celebrated in an intense manner as soon as Pooran hit the ball.

However, James Neesham didn’t looked too impressed with the entire plot and sat their pale-faced, solely because of KXIP’s choking at the death. After the game, a Twitter user asked Neesham the reason behind this sort of a reaction and Neseham, as funny as he is, was quite witty in his response.

This was KXIp’s second win of the season and interestingly, both the wins this season have come against RCB. KXIP need to win all their remaining games from hereon if they eye a playoff spot.
