The 28th match of the Dream11 IPL 2020 will see another clash of the titans with Kolkata Knight Riders locking horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Last season, both sides were involved in back-to-back heart pumping high-scoring encounters with more than 400 runs being scored in both of those fixtures.

While the first game was won by KKR thanks to a brutal annihilation by Andre Russell, the second fixture went in Royal Challenger Bangalore’s favor despite Russell and Narine’s belligerence.

Andre Russell hasn’t been in good form with the bat this IPL and the fact that the all-rounder picked up an injury in the last game against KXIP, it is still not clear whether he will feature in tomorrow’s fixture.

Both sides are coming off victories in their last fixture and with the tournament now reaching the halfway mark, they would be looking to further assert their authority in the top-4.

Kolkata Knight Riders would be delighted with the fact that their skipper Dinesh Karthik finally captured his form after a horrendous start to the season. Also, the fact that they have managed to defend low totals in the past two games would come as a real booster for the side.

However, we will have to see what bearing does Andre Russell’s injury (if he doesn’t play tomorrow) and Sunil Narine’s action getting reported will have on them.

Will Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore back up their last match performance against Kolkata Knight Riders?

The Royal Challenger Bangalore, on the other hand, is coming off what Virat Kohli described as the ‘most complete’ performance that his side has put up this season thus far against Chennai Super Kings.

The win was spearheaded by yet another masterclass by skipper Kohli and was followed by a brilliant all-round performance by their bowlers- especially Washington Sundar and Chris Morris.

Chris Morris finally returned from injury and he instantly made an impact with the ball, especially at the backend, eventually finishing with three wickets. But it still remains to be seen how he fares against aa power-packed batting-unit like KKR.

That said, RCB will now be worried about the form of opening batsman, Aaron Finch. Barring a half-century against Mumbai Indians, the Australian swashbuckler has struggled against both pacers as well as spinners, and his cheap dismissals have proceeded to put a huge amount of pressure on the likes of Kohli, ABD, and Devdutt Padikkal. The team management would be hoping that Finch regains his touch in the upcoming fixture against KKR.

IPL 2020: Match 28: Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Match Prediction

Kolkata Knight Riders hold an overall 14-10 advantage over Royal Challengers Bangalore. The last two games have resulted in a 1-1 deadlock between the two sides.

This will be the first time that RCB will play a game in Sharjah. KKR, on the other hand, has already played a game at the venue; a game that they lost to Delhi Capitals.

But, given the firepower that KKR has in their line-up, backing the Knight Riders to pull one over RCB.
