The 28th match of the Indian Premier League will see high-flying Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both the teams are coming into this game after winning their previous encounter.
Kolkata Knight Riders pulled off a heist against Kings XI Punjab, winning the game by 2 runs from a losing position. Chasing 165, Kings XI Punjab were at 115 for no loss in the 15th over before an inexplicable failure from their batsmen saw the team finish on 163.
Royal Challengers Bangalore, on the other, thrashed Chennai Super Kings in their previous outing. Their skipper Virat Kohli was in imperious form, scoring an unbeaten 90 to fashion a convincing 37-run win. After scoring 169, Royal Challengers Bangalore had restricted Chennai to 132 for 8.
Following the game, Kohli had hailed the win as one of his team’s most complete performances. With both the teams in form at present, one can expect a cracking affair today.
