Chennai Super Kings will be looking to keep their slim playoffs alive when they lock horns against high-flying Delhi Capitals in the 34th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

With only three wins from the opening eight games, there is absolutely no room for further slip for CSK. A defeat tonight could all but seal their fate in this year’s tournament. CSK have made it to the playoffs in all the IPL seasons they have played so far and need to come up with something special to maintain their 100 percent record.

CSK are coming into this match with a comfortable 20-run win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. They are yet to register two wins on the trot this season and with momentum on their side, they would be desperate to do that tonight.

On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are all but assured of a place in the playoffs. With 6 wins from 8 games, the Shreyas Iyer-led side has pretty sealed its passage to the next round. Everything is falling into place for them at the moment and they would be keen to continue their strong run when they take on CSK.
