Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will host Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2020 clash at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. KKR pulled off a win in the Super Over clash in their previous game while RCB registered a thumping seven-wicket victory. A win for RCB will mean that they qualify to the playoffs while KKR will inch close to sealing a spot with a victory.

It will be important for Rahul Tripathi and Shubman Gill to get the side off to a good start. Nitish Rana will be important in the top-order. Eoin Morgan has done quite well in building partnerships in the middle-order and Dinesh Karthik have found his touch. However, Andre Russell, still remains a cause of concern for the side.

The big positive for the Bangalore franchise is that AB de Villiers looked in fine touch in the previous game while Virat Kohli played the role of a perfect second fiddle in their match-winning stand. The bowling department will continue to rely heavily on fast bowler Navdeep Saini and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Let us have a look at how the team can shape up for the game.

IPL 2020 Match 39: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore: Weather Forecast

The major concern playing in the UAE will be heat. A lot of foreign players are not habituated to playing in such conditions. However, local Indian players might tackle the heat as they have played under such conditions in the sub-continent.

The weather on the match day is predicted to remain around 31 to 28 degree celsius. As the day, progresses, the temperature might give slight relief to the players who are in for an evening start with the match.

Toss also becomes a major concern in the IPL 2020 due to this situation even though in the shortest format it doesn’t plays a big role. Humidity during the latter part of the match makes it difficult for the bowlers to grip the ball. The season has so far seen that the team’s batting first have won most number of matches.
