Royal Challengers Bangalore will have a chance to seal their spot in the playoffs when they lock horns against SunRisers Hyderabad in the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 in Sharjah.
Royal Challengers Bangalore are currently at the second spot in the points table with seven wins from 12 games. The Virat Kohli-led RCB can ill afford further slip up in the league stage now. Just around a week ago, they were looking set to make it to the playoffs comfortably and were also in a good position to finish in the top two.
However, two back-to-back defeats have suddenly put them in a spot of bother. Another defeat tonight will be a huge blow. Even after losing their next two games, they can make it to the playoffs but won’t be able to make it to the top two which gives two shots at the final.
