Mumbai Indians won their second game of IPL 2020 beating Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by 48 runs on Matchday 13 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Mumbai have now gone on top of the IPL 2020 points table and the team will now look forward to carry this momentum in the tournament.

On Thursday, Kings XI Punjab took on Mumbai Indians on Matchday 13 of IPL 2020. Winning the toss, Kings XI Punjab decided to field first. Initially, the Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma scored a scintillating half-century and later on, Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya emerged as the brothers of destruction as Mumbai finished on a fighting score of 191-4 in their 20 overs.

Kings XI Punjab began the second innings on a high as they were soaring high in spirits with KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal smashing the Mumbai bowlers all over the park. However, it was only a matter of time as Kings XI Punjab succumbed to great pressure as the first wicket fell down. The story continued as the Punjab batsmen kept coming in and going back. Eventually, Mumbai won the game by 48 runs as Punjab finished on 143-8
