IPL 2020: Navdeep Saini Doubtful For Mumbai Indians Clash

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Navdeep Saini is doubtful for the clash against Mumbai Indians later today. Saini has been spearheading the RCB fast bowling line-up and been instrumental in their success stories. It will be a big blow for RCB ahead of their clash against the defending champions in such circumstances.
Saini has also been bowling exceptionally at the death for RCB. Mohammed Siraj who did well his last appearance for the side could well lead the bowling attack for RCB in his absence with Isuru Udana, Shivam Dube as the other bowlers.
Navdeep Saini split the webbing of his right hand
Navdeep Saini split the webbing of his right hand in the match against CSK. The incident took place in the 18th over while he was trying to stop the ball. The franchise head physiotherapist however said that Saini was under supervision of a good hand surgeon and he has stitched up nicely.
“Saini has split his webbing in the last ball there. He obviously got hit on the thumb on the right hand. He has just split the webbing over there. Fortunately, we had a good hand surgeon, he stitched up nicely. So we could just monitor over the night and check it after getting ready for the next game,” Evan Speechly, RCB’s head physiotherapist, said in an interview to RCB TV.
RCB currently have 14 points in their kitty and look like one of the strongest contenders to win the tournament.
