Chennai Super Kings opener, Shane Watson has said that he still believes that his team can turn the tables, and go on to win their remaining four matches. If that happens, CSK will also have a few other results to go their way in the hope of qualifying for the playoffs.

Chennai is at the bottom of the points table with just six points and four matches left. Apart from England all-rounder Sam Curran, no other player has put up significant performances consistently in the tournament. Even Shane Watson, who is now pushed to number three in the batting order, has just one match-winning innings to his name this year.

I can guarantee is that we will be pushing the limits: Shane Watson

Shane Watson, on his YouTube video, has said that the team has to play some incredible over for the next four games in order to turn things around, and hope for other results to go their way as well. The Australian also assured the fans that they would be giving their best and push their limits. Even after a disappointing season, the 39-year-old still believes that CSK can qualify, for that they need to build momentum and hold it.

In his Youtube video titled ‘The Debrief’, Shane Watson said, “We will have to turn things around and play some incredible cricket over the next 4 games and a lot of other things will have to fall our way as well.

“But one thing that I can guarantee is that we will be pushing the limits at how good we can be. There is no reason why we can’t go on a run and put everything together and build momentum from the start of the game and hold it,” the opener said.

The right-hander also thanked their fans for their unconditional love and support and promised that the team would do their best in repaying it to them.

“We know that we have always got unconditional love and support from the CSK fans and we will be doing everything to repay that love and support,” he added.
