The co-owner of the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Preity Zinta, fired shots at her own team as they ended up in another nail-biting finish on Thursday. Kings XI Punjab locked horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 31 of IPL 2020.

Winning the toss, RCB elected to bat first and scored a total of 171 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs as their skipper Virat Kohli top-scored for them, smashing 48 runs. Chasing the target, KXIP opened with KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal despite having Chris Gayle in their ranks. After the game, their co-owner, Preity Zinta was seen celebrating in the dugout. She later took to Twitter and expressed her anxiety as KXIP seemed to lose another game from a winning position.

Preity wrote, Finally a much needed win for US Wish our team wouldn’t give heart attacks to people in the name of cricket. Statutory Warning @lionsdenkxip  games are not for the faint hearted. I really admired the fight back from the RCB Bowlers in the end.
