Twitter certainly looked unhappy with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as they lost yet another game in IPL 2020 and the franchise have dug a massive hole for them this year. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) beat them in the southern derby of IPL by 37 runs to win their fourth game of the tournament.

Chennai Super Kings took on Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 25 of IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore smashed 169 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their 20 overs, courtesy a Virat Kohli special as the RCB skipper pulled off a masterclass and scored 90* runs to end the RCB innings on a high.

CSK Look To Create History Even After Losing Games On The Trot

Chennai Super Kings have certainly had one of the poorest seasons this year in IPL 2020 so far. They have now lost 5 games out of the 7 matches played so far and are on the bottom half of the IPL 2020 points table. From here, a berth in the playoffs definitely looks an impossible shot and Chennai are definitely not the team that they used to be every year.

However, even after losing games on the trot, Chennai Super Kings look certain to create a record this season as well. However, this won’t be something that they will be very proud of. If Chennai Super Kings fail to qualify for the playoffs this season, it will be the first time they do so while competing in the tournament. Hence, CSK will look to avoid achieving this feat.
