Chennai Super Kings’ middle-order was hugely responsible for their victory over Mumbai Indians on Saturday. Ambati Rayudu and Faf Du Plessis stitched a 115-run stand to rescue their side from a precarious 6-2 while chasing 163. Their bowling, which suffered some hammering, bounced back well in some critical moments and death overs to limit Mumbai to an achievable target. The team has all armoury that they need to go all the way.

Rajasthan Royals arrive in the tournament as a certain underdog, particularly against the Chennai Super Kings. The side has only a few match-winners and also lack experience. The likes of Steve Smith, Robin Uthappa, and David Miller might have to do the heavy lifting in their respective batting department. The focus will also be on Jofra Archer, who was in top form in the limited-overs series against Australia.
