IPL 2020: Match 12: Rajasthan Royals Vs Kolkata Knight Riders: Match Prediction

The Rajasthan Royals will face the Kolkata Knight Riders for the first time in this year’s IPL campaign on Wednesday. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host the battle between Steve Smith and Dinesh Karthik’s men. Both the teams will be riding on a win in their previous match and it is expected to be a cracker of a contest.

The Rajasthan Royals have made a phenomenal start to their IPL 2020 journey by winning both of their first two games. With 200+ scores in each of the matches, the team’s batting department has been exceptional thus far. While skipper Steve Smith and 25-year-old Sanju Samson has been the ones among runs, the last game against Kings XI Punjab saw the rise of Rahul Tewatia and his extraordinary hitting.

However, Rajasthan’s bowling department has been a matter of concern for the side. Players like Jofra Archer and Jaydev Unadkat have not lived up to the expectations with the ball in hand resulting in giving away plenty of runs.

Both Shubman Gill and Eoin Morgan returned to form with the bat while the bowling department also performed brilliantly.

It’s going to be a tough outing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, considering the red hot form the Royals are in. The knights will be expecting players like Pat Cummins and Sunil Narine to be at their best with the ball. However, the men in pink and blue are expected to come out on top considering the quality of players and momentum on their side.
