The third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) will see Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers take on each other in Dubai. The match will kickstart yet another season for RCB where they will be looking to end their long wait for the first-ever title.

The Bangalore-based outfit is the one of the only three franchises who are yet to lay their hands on the elusive trophy. They have made it to the final thrice but ended up on the wrong side of the result every time. Incidentally, the last time they made it to the final which was in 2016, they lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad with the latter winning their first and so far only IPL title.

Since then, both the teams have had contrasting journeys in the IPL. While RCB have not made it to the playoffs since then, SRH have made it to the playoffs in all the seasons including appearing in the final in 2018.

Just like the previous seasons, RCB look like one of the teams to beat on paper once again with the likes of Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Chris Morris and others stars in their ranks. On the other hand, SRH have the likes of David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan who can blow away any team on their day.
