IPL 2020: Twitter Ecstatic With SunRisers Hyderabad's All-Round Dominance Against Kings XI Punjab In Dubai

Twitter was ecstatic on Thursday as SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) put on an all-round performance against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in match 22 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). SunRisers Hyderabad won the match by 69 runs and are now back in the top 4 of the IPL 2020 points table as this win has handed them a massive boost.

Winning the toss, SRH decided to bat first. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow provided a solid start to them as they smashed the Punjab bowlers all over the park. Both the batsmen scored massive half-centuries but the SRH innings crumbled towards the end. Kings XI Punjab never really looked in the game except for Nicholas Pooran’s carnage with the bat.

SunRisers Hyderabad Climb Up In The Top Half

SunRisers Hyderabad have now entered in the top half of the IPL 2020 points table with this win. After this game, SunRisers Hyderabad have climbed to the 3rd spot in the points table displacing Royal Challengers Bangalore from that position. They will now take on Rajasthan Royals in match 26 of the tournament.

Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, have hit the rock bottom now and they have nothing to lose from hereon if they eye a spot in IPL 2020 playoffs.
