One of the most integral parts of the Chennai Super Kings’ squad over the years in the Indian Premier League, Suresh Raina, has come up with a tweet following his side’s win over SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH). CSK beat SunRisers Hyderabad by 20 runs in match 29 of IPL 2020 as the Men in Yellow recorded their third win of this year’s IPL campaign.
Suresh Raina had also travelled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) along with the Chennai Super Kings squad but he returned back to India citing personal reasons and was thus ruled out of the entire competition. This led to a lot of rumours including his rift with the CSK team management and also with MS Dhoni in person.

Suresh Raina’s Recent Tweet Clears The Air
On Tuesday, Chennai Super Kings were up against SunRisers Hyderabad at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium playing their first reverse fixture of IPL 2020. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings put up a total of 167-6 in their 20 overs. Chasing the target, SunRisers Hyderabad never really looked in touch save for Kane Williamson’s knock and as a result, CSK won the game by 20 runs.
Raina took to Twitter and wrote, “Loved watching the game tonight & the efforts put in by the boys. Kudos for a great team work @chennaiipl, calls for a celebration!”

This tweet is self-sufficient to determine that there are no rifts between him and Chennai Super Kings and that they share a mutual lovely relationship. A lot of controversies had surfaced ever since Raina decided to pull out of the tournament all of a sudden as there was a difference in the statements of the franchise and the player. Later, the news of Raina and CSK unfollowing each other on Twitter ran like wildfire. CSK had also removed Raina’s name from their website that led to a lot of debate.
