Chennai Super Kings (CSK) senior-most spinner Harbhajan Singh was in full of praise for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) bowlers after their thrilling win against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium on Thursday.

Having managed to post just 132 in their 20 overs, Sunrisers were considered outsiders to win the game. However, a stellar performance by the bowlers have had helped the team to clinch a crucial win.

Chris Gayle and KL Rahul started the innings once again on a high note. Both the players scored boundaries in tandem and put on a fifty-five run opening stand.

But once wickets start tumbling, Kings’ batsmen crumbled under pressure. None of the middle-order batters showed any determination to stay put and anchor the innings.

The visitors were eventually were bowled out for just 119 in 19.2 overs and the home team took the game by just 13 runs.

This year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) is definitely been exciting for spectators.

Over the past few days, some of the teams are unable to defend 200-run score, but on an odd day, other sides are being able to defend scores less than 150.

Harbhajan Singh was quick to point out the fact and revealed that cricket is the winner this season.

“Incredible bowling effort by @SunRisers back to back to defend small total @sandeep25a @sidkaul22 @rashidkhan_19 @Sah75official #Thampi … @IPL at its best. one day 200 is not enough other day 130 is enough. CRICKET IS THE WINNER?✅,” he tweeted.

Sunrisers Prove Why They Are The Best Bowling Side

Sunrisers Hyderabad team is traditionally the bowling powerhouse in IPL. They always boasted the best bowling lineup in every season since their inception five years ago.

But after two consecutive losses against Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), many thought the side might have been overrated.

However, a poor batting display against Mumbai Indians (MI) brought the best out of the bowlers at iconic Wankhede. The bowlers have defended a mere 118 runs and bowled out Mumbai for just 87.

The bowlers were once again the heroes for the team as they managed another low-scoring win against the Mohali-based outfit.

The team has done this considerable job over the past two games in the absence of India’s premier pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

With his return expected in the next games, their bowling will only get stronger.
