Though IPL 2019 is yet to begin, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad already got involved in a duel. However, this time, it is on social media and the battle was a fire with both the franchises coming up with interesting replies. Meanwhile, it all ended with the intervention from Hardik Pandya and Gaurav Kapur.

Coming to the details, initially, it was Hardik Pandya, who posted a picture with Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard. Meanwhile, their franchise, Mumbai Indians asked the fans to show any other all-rounders trio like them.

During the course, the runner-up of IPL 2018, Sunrisers Hyderabad replied with a picture of Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan. Further, they added saying, ‘Wait is finished.’

In reply, Mumbai Indians came up with the pictures of their three trophies and quoted the wait continues. The response by Mumbai Indians seems like an indirect dig at Hyderabad, as they got only one cup in their bag.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya entered into the banter and added saying ‘Thug Life’ from Mumbai Indians. During the course, Gaurav Kapur, who enjoyed the banter quoted ”Hahaha. Shots fired. Top banter guys.”

Digging into Hardik Pandya’s tweet, it read ”I had to hold my phone pretty high to fit Big Polly into the frame. Happy to see you again my brother.”

Meanwhile, CSK joins the banter stating that their skipper MS Dhoni alone is equal to three all-rounders

The journey so far:

Mumbai Indians had great success in their IPL safari so far. They have bagged three IPL cups and delivered talented cricketers through their franchise for team India. Much like other franchises, they always encouraged youngsters to come good.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad came into existence when Deccan Chargers opted out from continuation. They have won the trophy under David Warner captaincy and reached finals in IPL 2018.
