The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Delhi Daredevils (DD) in the 19th Match of the ongoing 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Virat Kohli’s red brigade hasn’t been able to hit the ground running.
The Bangalore franchise has thus far managed a solitary win in the ongoing edition.
On the other hand, their opposition Daredevils find themselves in the same territory. Delhi has also followed the same path of misery as RCB.
Gautam Gambhir-led side has scalped only one win and they have lost three matches.
Thus, the Delhi-based outfit finds themselves at the bottom of the IPL 2018 points table. After their dismal start to the season, both the teams would be desperate to get a win under their belt.
Here is a look at the Predicted playing XI of the Royal Challengers Bangalore:
Parthiv Patel:
Parthiv Patel should be given his opportunity. He has thus far warm the benches for the RCB. It is known that the southpaw is a sweet timer of the ball.
The wicketkeeper-batsman had done a fine job for the reigning champions Mumbai Indians in the previous seasons.
Quinton de Kock:
Quinton de Kock has got off to good starts in the ongoing season of the IPL. However, the South African gloveman hasn’t been able to carry on to make a big score.

Thus, RCB wicketkeeper will like to make the most of his start – to give his team a perfect platform.
Virat Kohli:
Virat Kohli has been the lone warrior of the team.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Kohli has been a lone warrior thus far. Captain hasn’t received the required support from the other end. RCB looks reliant on the shoulders of their talismanic batsman.

AB de Villiers
AB de Villiers has clicked in a solitary match. The South African linchpin plays with fire all the time and thus it can lead to his downfall.
Consequently, de Villiers will like to make better shot making decisions.
Mandeep Singh:
Mandeep Singh has impressed with the bat for the RCB. The right-hander has scored 122 runs in four matches at a blistering strike rate of 160.
Furthermore, Mandeep has also been majestic in the field.
Colin de Grandhomme:
The power-hitting capabilities of the Kiwi’s all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme are well known. RCB have missed a quality finisher on their side and the New Zealander can do the job.
In addition, the Blackcaps all-rounder can also contribute with the ball.
Chris Woakes:
Chris Woakes has lacked control in his bowling and thus, he is on the expensive side.
The England all-rounder had conceded 31 runs in the three overs against reigning champions Mumbai Indians.
Pawan Negi:
Pawan Negi has received only one chance in the current season. With Sarfaraz Khan not living up to the expectations, it would be fair to give Negi an opportunity.
Moreover, Negi can also provide a couple of overs of spin to Virat Kohli.
Washington Sundar:
The youngster Washinton Sundar hasn’t been able to continue his fine form.
The Tamil Nadu spinner’s strength is containment but he is not able to deliver the goods.
Yuzvendra Chahal:
Yuzvendra Chahal performance has also been in bits and pieces. The leg-spinner is RCB’s best bet but he is not able to come up roses.
However, Chahal is imperative to RCB’s success and it is pivotal that he hits the ground running.
Umesh Yadav:
Umesh Yadav is the pick of the Bangalore’s bowler thus far. The Vidarbha bowler has impressed with his sharp speed and has breathed down the neck of the opposition batsmen.
However, Yadav will like to be more accurate in the death overs of the innings.
