Iranian Cricketers Take Inspiration From MS Dhoni And Virat Kohli - Iranian Coach Urges BCCI To Boom Their Cricket

Iranian Under-19 coach Asghar Ali Raeisi urged Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) to help boom cricket in their country. He revealed how young cricketers in their country take inspiration from MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli are two of the greatest players that have played the game of cricket. The duo has been the role model for many young cricketers from India as well as from players outside the country. They have taken the world cricket by storm with their heroics.

Iranian U19 Coach Asghar Ali Raeisi said that young players in their country have the talent to play good cricket internationally but they lack infrastructure and he wants India to help them.

Speaking to ANI, he said: “Iranian cricketers take inspiration from MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and other young Indian cricket players. Iranian players have the talent to play good cricket internationally. But we fail to train them due to a lack of infrastructure. I wanted India to help us to build the stadium so Iranian players can prove their mettle in the world.”

“Iranian players being part of IPL matches – Asghar Ali Raeisi

Asghar Ali Raeisi further urged BCCI to train their players and said that their assistance would lead to Iranian players being part of IPL matches. He explained:

“We want Indian cricket management BCCI to train our players and umpiring in Iran so our players also can play cricket well,” he added. The assistance would lead to “Iranian players be part of IPL matches,” he concluded.
