There may be thousands of problems for MS Dhoni but achieving the milestones is not a one. In the second ODI of the series against England, Dhoni achieved a milestone of ten thousand runs. He joined the elite club which includes four Indians and twelve as a whole. He is the only player to join the club with 50 plus average in this format.

MS Dhoni played a painstaking inning in the mecca of cricket. He made a sedate 37 runs off 59 balls which included two fours as well. His achievement of the milestone is different from the rest ones. He has scored 75 per cent of his runs at number five slot or below than that which adds unique characteristic in his case.
He became the second Wicket-keeper batsman after Kumar Sangakkara. Among the elite club, he is the fastest one to achieve so as he took just 273 innings to breach 10,000 mark. Besides this, he is the second quickest to achieve the mark just behind the Sri Lankan opening batsman, Sanath Jayasuriya. He is also the third oldest cricket after TM Dilshan and Brian Lara to achieve such mark.

MS Dhoni made his ODI debut in 2004 against Bangladesh. He has represented in 320 matches which includes 273 innings. He has exactly a figure of 100004 runs in his tally. He is currently averaging 51.3
The highest score of former Indian skipper is 183*. He has smashed 10 ODI tons and 67 half centuries. He has smashed 772 boundaries and 217 sixes.
