We often come across Rohit Sharma coming up with funny statements during press conferences. The latest one comes after the Visakhapatnam Test when he was asked about the show put on by Mohammed Shami on Day 5 of the Test match.
Mohammed Shami delivered goods for the team with his stunning display of fast bowling. The right-handed fast bowler delivered a peach of the deliveries to get the better off South Africa top-order. In the end, he finished with 5-wicket haul when wrapped up things for India.

Meanwhile, when asked about Mohammed Shami, the right-handed Rohit Sharma quoted that everyone knew what Mohammed Shami is capable of doing when he is on a song. Hailing his spell, Rohit Sharma gave credits to Biryani, which is the favourite food of the fast bowler.
“We all know when Shami is fresh what he can do. Along with some Biryani,” said Rohit as the reporters burst out in laughter during the post match press conference on Sunday.
Coming to the match, it was a stunning show from Rohit Sharma, who collected man of the match for his dual centuries in the Test match. Using the opportunity, Rohit Sharma smashed a stunning 176-run knock in the first innings, which was his second-best score in his Test career.

Later, he continued the blistering form in second innings as well. Once again, he took South Africa bowlers to the cleaners thus bagging second century on a trot. It certainly impressed the team management and the former cricketers, as they are proud of the knock displayed by Rohit Sharma.
