Ishant Sharma, on Sunday, went past the legendary Kapil Dev to become the most successful Indian pacer in overseas Tests. The senior India pacer was tied with Kapil Dev on the list of Indian bowlers with the most wickets outside Asia before the ongoing second Test against the West Indies in Kingston.

On Sunday, he overtook Kapil Dev to add another feature to his cap. Ishant sent back Jahmar Hamilton in the 47th over of West Indies’ first innings on Day 3 of theTest to overtake the Kapil Dev on the list. Overall, former India leg-spinner Anil Kumble leads the list. While Ishant has 156 overseas Test wickets to his name, Kumble has 200.
