New Zealand allrounder Jimmy Neesham must be hating super overs and it became very evident with his latest tweet after the third T20I between India and Black Caps went to a super over. This was the third game for New Zealand since July that was decided by a super over.

The first was in the World Cup final when he nearly took his side to win in the classic final. New Zealand had lost the game on boundary count. The second one took place in November with England being the opposition once again. It was the fifth and final T20I and New Zealand went on to lose the game as well as the series.

Jimmy Neesham was in the thick of things once again as he failed to defend 16 runs in the final over that saw the game being decided by a super over. And the super over once came back to haunt New Zealand on Wednesday as they could not score one run off one ball against India while chasing 180.

Ross Taylor was on strike when he needed to score one off the final ball of the innings bowled by Mohammed Shami. However, he was castled by the India pacer and the game was then decided by a super over. But as soon as Taylor was bowled, Jimmy Neesham took to Twitter to express his feelings by posting a hilarious GIF. Expressing his frustration over the super over, he posted the following GIF before deleting it after the loss.

Meanwhile, India won the super over to wrap up the five-match series with two matches to go. New Zealand scored 17 runs in the super over. In reply, India finished the over with 20 runs with Rohit Sharma starring with the bat. After collecting 8 runs from the first four balls, India saw Rohit Sharma smashing two sixes off Tim Southee to take them over the line.
