It has been a long time since we had watched New Zealanders play the international cricket. However, they have got the hectic schedule awaiting, and the contracts for the national team is on the line. Meanwhile, the all-rounder, Jimmy Neesham would like to make it into the contract list through domestic performances.
Of late, Kiwis got dent with the injuries to their key players. In particular, the absence of Corey Anderson for a long time has made a significant impact on the team. Meanwhile, Jimmy Neesham wants to fill the all-rounder slot for the team.

Speaking of the same, the southpaw quoted he is willing to make a comeback into the team and play all formats of the game. He went on to add saying he will give it all in the upcoming domestic season for Kiwis.

Further, the stylish all-rounder expressed his desire to play the upcoming 2019 World Cup. He also discussed his lost chances due to the stress fracture which put him away from the game for a couple of seasons.
“What the New Zealand team is crying out for is an all-rounder they can rely on day in, day out, and not someone who’s just going to turn up now and then. That’s where I want to put my stake in the ground and say through domestic performances, ‘here I am, I’m ready to go’,” said Neesham in a conversation with stuff.co.nz.

“I had a moment last season with two-three contracts in front of me that would have required me to cut down what I was willing to play for New Zealand. I looked at the options and decided I wasn’t going to be able to look back on my career at 50 if I’d taken the easy option that early. I want to play all three forms for New Zealand, not for the next 12 months but for the next four-five years,” he added.
However, it seems like Jimmy Neesham is confident of making a return to the Kiwis International cricket. Certainly, the addition of him will be a good aspect for Kiwis, as he can offer his services in all departments of the game.
