Jofra Archer Elated to be Bought by Rajasthan Royals

Young all-rounder from Sussex, Jofra Archer is delighted to grab a deal with Rajasthan Royals in today’s Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. Rajasthan bought Archer, who was on the radar of many IPL franchises for a whopping sum of 7.2 crores.
Archer become one of the most talked-about players in this year’s Big Bash after his stunning contributions to Hobart Hurricanes. Archer was economical throughout the tournament and clicked 145kmph on a regular basis. He was also electrifying in the field affecting game-changing run-outs.
Rajasthan, who is back into the cash-rich tournament after a suspension of two years will look to build a strong squad to fight for the championship. Rajasthan earlier retained Australian skipper Steve Smith ahead of the auctions.
22-year-old Archer expressed his happiness on social media site Twitter after Rajasthan roped in for the upcoming IPL.

“Wow can’t put this feeling into words,” Archer tweeted.
Rajasthan has already picked some big names like Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson. They also used the Right To Match card for star India batsman Ajinkya Rahane.
