There is no doubt about the fact that the Australian Domestic T20 League popularly known as the KFC Big Bash League is one of the best T20 Leagues across the world and the standard of cricket played in this competition is very high. In the ongoing tournament, we have experienced some exceptional performances by certain players. Sixes have flown all across the ground while the bowlers have also come up with some exceptional deliveries to get rid of the opposition batsman/
We have seen some exceptional catches in the tournament so far but none more thrilling an exciting than the one taken by Jofra Archer during the 24th match of the tournament between the Hobart Hurricanes and the Brisbane Heats. It was simply an astonishing catch given the force with which batsman Ben Cutting struck that shot.
The incident happened on the 3rd delivery of the 15th over. The ball was well within the range of Cutting, and he smashed that back towards the bowler with disdain. It was struck with enormous power but fortunately for the Hurricanes, and unfortunately for the Heats, Archer put his right hand out, and it got stuck there. It was minimum fuss by the bowler as Cutting was left searching for answers. He had never expected such a fierce shot to end up in the hands of the bowler.

Now coming back to the match it was Hobart Hurricanes who batted first and posted a score of 179 in their allotted 20 overs. Southpaw D’Arcy Short smashed a sensational century and remained not out on 122 of a mere 69 deliveries. The Brisbane Heats were in the chase for the major part of the innings, and the dismissal of Cutting at a crucial juncture proved to be vital for the Hurricanes.
The match went down to the wire as the Brisbane Heats eventually fell short of the target by just three runs. Cameron Boyce was the pick of the Hurricanes bowler finishing with a spell of 2/23 in his four overs.
