Rajasthan Royals’ duo Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer recently played a round of rapid-fire with each other and one can say that it was an entertaining one. The England superstars asked each other several questions, ranging from international cricket, IPL to their personal lives.

And one of the most interesting question was asked by Ben Stokes. The England allrounder asked his IPL and international teammate to reveal his favourite Hindi word. Both the players are playing in the IPL for quite some time and must have learned a handful of Hindi words.

Ben Stokes made his debut in the IPL in 2017 when he plied his trade for the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant. In the following year, he was bought by Rajasthan Royals. Archer, on the other hand, made his debut in 2018 and has been playing for the Royals since then.

Coming to the rapid-fire round, Ben Stokes asked Archer: “What is your favourite Hindi word?” before saying: “Not sure you can say that.”

Archer burst into laughter as he agreed with his teammate, saying: “Yeah, No I can’t, I can’t,” before saying jaldi which means quickly.

Arche then hilariously told Ben Stokes: “You can say Ben Stokes as well”. Now we all know what Archer was referring to. The Barbados-born allrounder was referring to the popular Hindi curse word which has been made even more popular by India skipper Virat Kohli.

Ben Stokes quickly understood Archer’s comment as he jokingly said: “My name has been turned into a Hindi word”

Here is a clip showing the interaction between the two:

Meanwhile, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer impressed once again for the Royals as they helped their side beat Kings XI Punjab in a must-win clash on Friday. Archer took 2 for just 26 while Ben Stokes scored a 25-ball fifty as Royals beat KXIP by seven wickets to keep their playoff hopes alive.
