Australia rookie head coach Justin Langer is ready to extend the arms for the banned trio in the form of Steven Smith, David Warner, and Cameron Bancroft.
Smith and David Warner were banned for a period of one year while Bancroft was handed over a nine-month ban for their role in the ball-tampering scandal which unfolded during the third Test in Cape Town.
The former Australian southpaw Langer admitted that all these players have made a mistake. Subsequently, the former opener added that the trio will learn from their mistakes.

Langer added that he would like to see these players meet the standard of Australian cricket and they are bound to be welcomed back after their respective bans get over.
Langer was the front-runner to take the head coach role.
“Cameron Bancroft and Steve Smith, literally beside Mike Hussey, love the game of cricket more than anyone I know,” he told a news conference.
“They are cricket tragics and they’re great kids and that’s why it’s such a surprise they made the mistake they did I think. They’re great kids, they’ve made mistakes, we’ve all made mistakes, we can all get better at things,” Langer added.
Justin Langer added he loves the way David Warner plays his game.
The former Australian deputy is known to give his cent percent both while batting as well as in the field.
There was a never a dull effort from the pugnacious opening batsman. Warner always loved playing his game in an aggressive way.

“Davey Warner is the same. He’s a really good young bloke, he made a mistake. I love the way he plays his cricket. I’m a cricket tragic, the way he runs between the wickets, the way he fields, the way he bats, they’re things that for the less trained eye, you might not respect that as much but I love the way he plays his cricket,” newly appointed Australian head coach added.
Langer expects the trio to make a strong comeback.
Langer added that the three above mentioned players have got areas in which they can improve their game.
Known for giving a steady start, Langer added that they have given their best for Australia and he is ready to provide the helping hand to such players to make things better.
“Has he got areas to get better at? Yep. Has Steve Smith? Yep. Has Cameron Bancroft? Yep. Has every single person in Australian cricket? Yep. We’ve all got areas we can get better at. If we can keep mentoring them and helping them and they want to keep getting better and they want to meet the standards of the Australian cricket team, then, of course, they’ll be welcomed back,” added Langer.
Langer also added that the Australian team will not change their way of playing in an aggressive manner.
However, Justin Langer added that the team can alter their behaviour.
“The public will be disappointed if we don’t play good, hard competitive cricket. That said, we can also modify our behaviors,” Langer added.
It is going to be a difficult road back for Smith, Warner, and Bancroft.
Both Smith and Warner are quality players and they should remain at the top of their game to make their way back into the Australian team.
