India’s World Cup-winning captain, Kapil Dev showers words of praise on Imran Khan for being elected as the Prime minister of Pakistan. He poured his best wishes and was optimistic about Imran Khan nailing his job to the perfection.

However, Imran Khan, in the recently-concluded ceremony, took the oath of protecting the country from all sorts of bother. Speaking of the same, the former India all-rounder is sure of Imran delivering all those promises.

Meanwhile, Kapil Dev raised a few questions which Imran Khan should take care of.

He feels the greatest job any prime minister can do is to check whether all the people in the country got there three meals in the day.

“I have spoken to him only once since he became the prime minister. What a journey he has had. To be prime minister of any country, it takes a lot of discipline, dedication and hard work. He has worked very hard to reach where he has reached today,” the former India captain said.

“Imran, well done. I hope that he will be able to bring peace to India and Pakistan. I think the big question is if Imran as prime minister can give everybody in his country three meals a day. Can he give the youth of Pakistan jobs? People like me who have played cricket with him like to see him perform as the prime minister of Pakistan,” he said to Khaleej Times.
