Kapil Dev, India’s greatest all-rounder, and the 1983 World Cup-winning captain is back on the Golf course after having recovered from Angioplasty that he underwent last month.
Kapil Dev had sent shockwaves around the country and in the cricketing folklore after news broke out of him being rushed to the hospitals following a heart attack.
Dev underwent Angioplasty- a procedure to open blocked arteries and restore normal blood flow to the heart- and was discharged from the hospital a few days later.
Dev had also said that he would like to get back to playing golf as soon as the doctors allowed him, and in a matter of two weeks, the champion all-rounder was playing a sport that he is so passionate about at the Delhi Golf Club.
Kapil Dev posted a video message for his fans on Twitter where he said-
“You can’t express in words what fun it is to be back on the golf course or a cricket ground. It is beautiful to be back at the golf course, having fun and playing with friends. That’s what life is all about,”
